System Administrator / Windows Administrator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator / Windows Administrator with strong expertise in Citrix and VMware environments . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise-level Windows infrastructure, virtual environments, and application delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Configure and manage Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• Manage and support VMware vSphere/ESXi virtual infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of systems and applications.
• Perform patch management, upgrades, and system backups.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including access controls and antivirus/endpoint protection.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and changes via ITSM tools.
• Document system configurations, processes, and policies.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects and deployments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Windows Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with Citrix technologies (Citrix Studio, Director, StoreFront, NetScaler).
• Solid knowledge of VMware (vCenter, ESXi, vMotion, DRS, HA).
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and PowerShell scripting.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNow).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Citrix and/or VMware certifications (e.g., CCA-V, VCP).
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) related to hybrid infrastructure.
• Exposure to ITIL practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
