Position Summary The Sr. Technologist I, Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of the Company’s Network globally. The individual will be part of a team evaluating the Security and Wireless technologies which are to be deployed at our Worldwide offices.
LOCATION :
Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.
Possible travel domestically and overseas up to 10%.
Duties And Responsibilities Provide technical leadership in the enterprise infrastructure.
Troubleshoot outages, alarms, and performance issues throughout the organization.
Understand change control requirements to ensure compliance with the audit system.
Physical installation and troubleshooting of all IT equipment at remote locations.
Design, write and update system documentation and network diagrams.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot various network architectures.
Monitor and diagnose performance.
Lead continued improvement activities.
Design and implement solutions to maximize the functions of the equipment purchased.
Ability to travel domestically and overseas up to 10% of the year.
Qualifications REQUIRED:
7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles, with a focus onwireless, routing, switching, and infrastructure design.
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco ASR,Nexus 7000,Catalyst 9000/4000,8000 ISR, and Aruba switching platforms.
Proven ability to design, configure, and support LAN/WAN architectures across distributed environments.
SD-WAN & Cloud Networking:
7+ years of experience working with Versa SD-WAN , including policy configuration, deployment, and optimization in hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with cloud-connected technologies such as Zscaler,DMVPN,GRE/IPSec , and SSL VPN .
Wireless & Load Balancing:
Demonstrated expertise inenterprise wireless design , preferably using Cisco or Aruba solutions.
Experience administering and maintaining F5 BIG-IP load balancers .
Network Monitoring & Management Tools:
Proficiency in using tools such asSolarWinds,Cisco ISE,EfficientIP,SilverPeak , and Cisco Smart Licensing for monitoring, visibility, and configuration management.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Comfortable reviewing and drawing conclusions fromnetwork logsto assist with performance analysis and troubleshooting.
7+ years of experienceapplyingproject management practicesin complex network implementation or upgrade projects.
DESIRED:
Certifications preferred (such as security, routing & switching, and wireless).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
Ability to work as a SME in the design and troubleshooting the company’s global wireless and security technologies.
Strong leadership and client focused communication skills to all levels.
