Design-Salesperson Suncraft of Columbus has immediate full-time design and sales opportunity for creative individual familiar with residential architecture, design, and construction. Work with clients designing and selling big-ticket sunrooms, porches, decks and patios. Applicant must have a basic understanding of home construction and the ability to sketch and draw plans. You will be meeting with prospective clients at their home to discuss their needs and share your ideas. This is an upfront contact position that requires confidence, experience, and the ability to influence potential clients and their decisions. We provide all leads-- no cold calling. Responsibilities The Design-Salesperson candidate is responsible for understanding Suncraft's business objectives and the following specific functions: Meet with potential customers in order to determine their needs (meetings typically take place at the customer’s home) Take accurate site measurements and photographs Develop a unique design and cost proposals with use of company Price Book Meet weekly, monthly and annual sales goals and quotas Desired Skills & Experience Requirements for the position are provable skills and successes related to design, construction and sales. In-home sales experience Ability to free-hand sketch and draw scaled plans Good knowledge of residential construction methods, practices and good design sense Experience with big ticket sales, intangible items and knowledge of relationship based sales principles Outgoing personality and neat professional appearance is a must Training in architecture, design or construction is preferred Any formal sales training and/or experience in a sales management role is a strong plus Benefits Very competitive base draw plus aggressive commission program.
