Our team is dedicated to providing the best dermatology and skin care treatments possible. Our office is conveniently located in Sun City Center, 30 minutes from downtown Tampa.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Sun City Center, FL for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Hightower Dermatology. The successful candidate will provide medical and cosmetic dermatological care, including conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions, administering treatments, and performing minor procedures. The role also involves developing treatment plans, educating patients about their conditions and treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will start around December 1st to cover for another midlevel provider while on a 3 month maternity leave. You can expect a full schedule during this time as you build your own patient base.
Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in dermatology, including diagnosing and treating various skin conditions
• Ability to perform dermatological procedures
• Patient assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Certification through relevant professional boards (e.g., ANCC, AAPA, NCCPA)
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is crucial, ModMed/EMA experience is preferred
• Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care
