Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opening for a Machine Operator (Deburr/Grind) at our manufacturing facility in Taneytown, MD . This role is perfect for those looking to kickstart their career with Flowserve!

Shift: 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM)

Your Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, you will:

• Utilize hand tools to deburr, cut, and polish parts
• Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts
• Assist in various areas of the department as needed
• Employ hand tools, air tools, die grinders, and hand drills
• Complete certification reports accurately
• Adhere to all safety procedures and complete required training

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
• The ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions
• Basic shop math skills
• The physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• A willingness to work overtime as needed
• A High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with pneumatic air tools

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.34 - $28.98 USD Hourly .
