Job Description

This is a licensed Administrator position for Seal Rock in Saco Maine. General Purpose: To lead and direct the overall operations of the facility inaccordance with customer needs, government regulations, and Company policies,with a focus on maintaining excellent care for the residents while achievingthe facility’s business objectives. Lead the facility management staff and consultants indeveloping and working from a business plan that focuses on all aspects offacility operations, including setting priorities and job assignments. Monitor each department’s activities, communicatepolicies, evaluate performance, provide feedback and assist, observe,coach, and discipline as needed. Develop an environment that allows for creativethinking, problem-solving, and empowerment in the development of afacility management team. Oversee regular rounds to monitor the delivery ofnursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearanceof the facility; morale of the staff; and ensure resident needs are beingaddressed. Manage facility budgets and business practices toinclude labor costs, payables, and receivables. Monitor business activities to be certain proceduresand standards are followed, appropriate handling of funds, and that soundcredible business practices are followed at all times. Communicate budget guidelines and expectations toDepartment Managers. Develop and implement a marketing strategy for thefacility that reflects service opportunities, competition, potentialmarket area changes, and which maximizes census, payor mix, and ancillaryrevenues. Lead and monitor key staff and facility staff to playan active role in carrying out the marketing plan. Minimum Qualifications: Current/activeState Assisted Living Administrator license (Nursing Home) Current/activestate Residential Care Administrator license (Assisted Living /Residential Care) Organizedand detailed in work performance. Goodcommunication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience. Genuinecaring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursingfacility. Complywith the Residents’ Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures. Performwork tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below. PerformEssential Duties as outlined above.
