Join to apply for the Cloud FinOps Engineer role at Global Business Ser. 4u . Job Description: This individual will be responsible for building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI. They will analyze data from accounting, automate processes with the team, and communicate with internal customers (other product groups locally). Location: Plano - hybrid (day one onsite). 12-month contract. Responsibilities include: Providing visibility into cloud cost drivers to engineering, finance, and executive teams. Automating cost reporting, alerting, and visualization for cloud metrics. Identifying and alerting on cloud cost anomalies. Solving complex data problems independently. Analyzing and prioritizing cloud optimization recommendations and potential savings. Applying cloud cost optimization strategies (rightsizing, power scheduling, etc.). Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop metrics and reports. Ensuring governance of optimization recommendations. Implementing cost optimization practices with engineering teams. Visualizing cloud usage data to promote cost optimization. Working in an Agile environment. Staying updated with industry trends in FinOps and Cloud Cost Optimization. Qualifications include: 1-4 years experience with cloud cost management tools (AWS, GCP, Azure). Knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem is a plus. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Proficiency in SQL, Python, Go, or similar. Understanding of cloud financial systems and APIs. Expertise in cloud optimization techniques. Strong data analysis and communication skills. Preferred: FinOps Certified Practitioner. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or related.
